I only lost one pound this week, but that is better than a gain. Confused

Well dispite the fact that I have gone on several out of state trips I still keep dropping weight (slow but sure).  I am hoping to hit 20 pounds at tomorrow's weigh in.

week of March 16 - 22

I lost 3 pounds this week. Yippee! I am at a 40 pound weight loss milestone. Open-mouthed I am excited and happy but still have a long way to go to reach my goal. This weekend will be a challenge with the Easter dinner and all the temptations that go along with it but I will make it through! ~Brenda

No weight loss this week. Bummer. I hope when it gets nice out and I can be out doors mowing the lawn and getting more active will get me in a more downward pattern.Confused

Week of February 24 - 29

Yippee! I lost 5 pounds this week.Open-mouthed  Maybe I am finally on the right track. I am hoping I can keep this downward trend going. My husband and I ate dinner out last night and he was tempting me with chicken quesadillas appetizers and then he had chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. I was so close to caving but managed with my salad and sugar free dessert. ~Brenda

weight loss

Well, I managed to lose a pound even though I was at my son's house for 3 days.  This was not an easy feat since they are not into healthy eating and there is no space to exercise.  I thought I could go for a walk, but it snowed.  I managed only to miss one day of exercise and since I took much of my own food, I didn't stray to far from my diet.  One of the director's in my office is selling Easter eggs and chocolate covered pretzels that her chuch makes.  They are to die for and I have to pass them every time I go to the water cooler.  So far I have managed to resist the temptation.  I really want to get back into my size 10 jeans.

week Feb 20th

I managed to lose 3 lbs. in the last 2 weeks.   I was a little worried about this past week because I was going to my daughter's for the holiday weekend.  I managed for the most part to eat what was on my plan even though we ate out twice.  This weekend I went to my son's house which has been more of a challenge.  They are not as health conscious as my daughter and there really was no room to workout.  When I got home tonight I made sure I did 30 minutes of aerobics.  I have 2 days to get back on track.  Hopefully it's enough to drop at least a pound.  The good news is I don't have any trips planned until March 13th.  Then I go to Tennessee to the race.  Eating right at the races will be a real challenge.

I lost 2 pounds this week. Like this last episode of BL I weighed in 24 hours ahead of time as I am not sure if I will make it to the gym tomorrow with the impending weather. ~Brenda

week of Feb 10 - 26

I only lost one pound this week. I didn't get my calories back to 2000 a day. Not sure if that is my problem. I am getting depressed. On the other hand my belt is showing some progress. Since I started losing weight I have dropped back 5 notches.

week of Feb 4 - 10

Again this week I have not lost any weight. My trainer told me to reduce my calorie intake by 500 a week and I reduced it by approx 400 a day. I guess I cut back too much. I hope I can get it right soon. I was doing so well before the New Year.  ~Brenda

Week in review

Yeah!!! The diet switch was a good choice.   It's more cooking, but the reward for the week was great!  5 lbs. lost.   The best part is I'm really never hungry, because I am eating every couple of hours.  In addition, I have gotten out of bed every morning to do Pilates even though it means 4:30 a.m.  In the evenings I have been exercising with Bob (Biggest Loser DVD) alternating sculpting with  aerobics.

Finally!

Finally I got the scale to budge! Open-mouthed This week I too lost 2 pounds. I scheduled 2 sessions with my personal trainer for a new workout routine. He put me through the rigors and looked at my food journal. I figured out where I can cut back on some calories and I think that made the difference. Hopefully the next weeks will tell the story. This is hard work but worth it when I hear favorable comments. And so another week begins...  ~Brenda
